PLEASE NOTE: An afternoon event from 2pm

The Station Buffet Bar in Stalybridge was voted Champion Mild Pub by those taking part in this year's Mild Magic. We have finally arranged a date for the presentation which, unusually, is from 2pm in the afternoon. This is because the manager only works afternoons, except for Saturday evenings.

Travel is easy from Manchester Piccadilly, with a train on the hour and half, taking about fifteen minutes.

Note - Winter Warmer Wander stickers can be obtained at the same time. The Buffet Bar is on Winter Warmer, as are Bridge Beers and Society Rooms in Stalybridge town centre.

With a little ingenuity of travel to or from the event, a further four stickers can be picked up in Ashton-U-Lyne (Ash Tree, Browton’s Bottle Shop) and Droylsden (Sheldon Arms and Silly Country) - with a fifth a 12 minute walk north from Ashton rail station (Halfway House) — and of course a multitude await in Manchester city centre!.
