The J P Joule, Wetherspoon's outlet in Sale, was swathed in scaffolding when I called tonight (10 November) with a note in the door announcing: "We are closed 10 November to 9 December to facilitate our refurbishment".

This is bad news for those partaking in Winter Warmer Wander as this is one of the rarer 'gold' stickers.
