Demolished 1/1/1987, site is now Barclays Bank but pub front door (see photo) preserved around side. Closed 9/8/1986. History: Former mid-terrace Boddington's house. There was a Buck & Dog mentioned as early as 1770, the final one was built in the 1890s. That lasted a century before succumbing to demolition. The elaborately carved stone frontage was retained and worked into the Barclay's Bank now on the sight. This, and a flood stone can be viewed at the rear of the premises.
