This is the first of three awards from the Beer of the Festival competition voted on by the customers at Stockport Beer & Cider Festival.

The Silver Award winer is Double Dark Hemptress, a 10.2% imperial hemp porter. This was a collaboration between Torrside and Levenshulme Homebrew Club, who won the Stout & Porter category in the festival's homebrew competition.

We'll be making the actual presentation around 1pm as the Torrside Brewery tap days can get quite busy later on - so get their early if you want a seat!
