An old-fashioned local at the northern reaches of the village which had a bit of a makeover in the last few years. It has a small front bar running lengthwise and a back room which holds a dart board and card table as well as TV. There are benches outside the front and a small beer garden to the rear. On the walls are references to Ireland and Irish Gaelic sports teams but this has nothing of a fake nor contrived feel to it. Lively conversation can often be found in the front bar and if you think of Didsbury on a Friday night as full of lager and shot-fuelled teenagers running amok, be thankful that they have yet to penetrate the Station Hotel.
