The furnishings, modern paintings and décor give a comfortable and light feel to the pub. Popular for its meals and very busy when sport is on the screens or when entertainment is on. This largely open-plan pub returned to the real ale fold around 2011 and was much the better for it. That all ended after a refurbishment in mid-2025, when it returned to sadly selling keg beer only.
