At the rear is a spacious garden with plenty of seating to enjoy summer days in. Truly at the heart of the community with a variety of groups using the pub to raise funds for community improvement projects and such. Regular events include a quiz night, Hoy bingo on Mondays, Thirsty Thursdays, "What's in your box?" Friday, "Lucky Plucker" on Saturday, and even a knitting club.
